Opportunities with Biamp increase with continued company growth and expansion of education and support programs

BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, has announced the promotion of Scott Wieser as applications engineering manager for North America. As a graduate of the Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, Wieser earned two degrees in recording arts and science as well as percussion performance, and has almost 15 years of experience in professional audio. His expertise in DSP programming, AV systems integration, and IT systems, combined with a passion for music, brings a blend of technology and art to his new role.

“Scott’s strength in understanding DSP system design and what our customers need make him a great fit for leading the Beaverton, Oregon, applications engineering team,” said Kiley Henner, director of customer experience for Biamp Systems. “His commitment to the customer and problem-solving will contribute to delivering the world-class support and industry-leading training Biamp is known for.”

2015 continues to be an exciting year as Biamp’s company growth has led to the addition of new positions across several departments. “We are expanding our workforce in order to meet sales, support, and manufacturing needs at Biamp,” shared Matt Czyzewski, executive vice president of operations for Biamp Systems. “The timing couldn’t be better with InfoComm 2015 upon us. We welcome talented people who enjoy helping customers and have a passion for audio to stop by our booth and learn about what Biamp offers as an employer.”
