The Tesira DAN-1 is an optional digital audio networking card for Tesira SERVER or SERVER-IO that allows them to interface with other audio devices utilizing the Dante networking protocol from Audinate. The DAN-1 card can be factory installed or installed in the field. Featuring the Brooklyn II module, the DAN-1 allows for up to 64 x 64 channels of digital audio into and out of a Tesira system. Explicit input and output blocks in Tesira configuration software are available for signal routing in and out over the Dante protocol. DAN-1 can be installed in a SERVER alongside the AVB-1 Audio Video Bridging networking interface, and can also be installed in SERVER-IO in various combinations with AVB-1 and SCM-1 CobraNet cards, making the Tesira platform a very powerful protocol-bridging AVB system.
