Connects to DM 8G+ input of DM switcher or receiver via DM 8G cable or CAT5e. Includes USB HID device port, allowing mouse/keyboard to be connected for controlling computer or other host device at different location. Mounts in double-gang electric box. It is installed in double-gang electrical box to provide convenient interface for computers and high-definition AV sources as part of complete Crestron DigitalMedia system. In addition to DM 8G+, it is also compatible with HDBaseT specifications, allowing it to be connected directly to the input of an HDBaseT compliant display device. It is ideal for wall, lectern, and floor box applications in boardroom, classroom, auditorium or residence. It connects to head end or display location using single CAT5e or Crestron DM 8G cable, providing HDMI, VGA and analog audio inputs, plus a USB HID host port. Standard gang-box mounting allows for installation adjacent to an Ethernet jack (Crestron MP-WP183 or equivalent) for total connectivity solution.
