The SoundMate SMP-400 system consists of the PST-170 transmitter which operates on one of 17 selectable frequencies, 4 17-channel, frequency agile SR-400 portable receivers with companion HED-2 collapsible headphones and the HM-2 headworn microphone which features discreet, behind-the-head headband and lightweight. The system briefcase with custom foam inserts and 10 AA alkaline batteries are also part of the package. The SMP-400 is designed as low cost alternative solution for bus and museum tours, house of worship or theatrical assistive listening applications and conferencing situations involving multi-client and multi-user translation needs.
