The TR-4800E Tally router provides 32 tally inputs and 48 tally outputs with the option for an additional 16 GPIO on its front, and is used in conjunction with MAGNUM-TALLY for physical GPIO. It receives tally inputs from devices like switchers, record systems, etc. and provides this information over Ethernet to MAGNUM-TALLY to be processed. The tally information can then be used by MAGNUM-TALLY to provide tally information to cameras, Under Monitor Displays (UMDs), switchers, replay and record systems etc. The optional front 16 GPIO are individually software selectable with LED indicators to be GPI/GPO, Wet/Dry, when configured as GPI Wet inputs are polarity insensitive. The front also has Binding post pair for a external voltage input, internal or this external power can be used for wet GPIO applications.
