Hsinchu, Taiwan, September 08, 2022 – Today, Lumens® Digital Optics Inc. announced support for Audinate's new Dante AV-H technology. Dante AV-H is a new software solution which enables manufacturers to incorporate Dante control in IP video products including PTZ cameras, AV over IP solutions, and Media Processors.
Steven Liang, VP of Product Development for Lumens commented: "As a global leader in the ProAV industry, Lumens strives to provide the users robust AV over IP Solutions. We are delighted to be one of the first manufacturers to implement Dante AV-H. This is an exciting integration which allows Lumens' video products to seamlessly join an existing Dante ecosystem. This provides users excellent video quality with a crystal-clear audio. The high-performance audio-visual solution is ideal for users in AV, video production, and live events."
"Dante AV-H brings interoperability to AV-over-IP products, providing easy-to-use discovery, connectivity and manageability while using the familiar, reliable H.264/265 codecs already supported in common hardware. Also, because Dante AV-H is software based, it is easier, less costly and faster to integrate than hardware-based solutions. We are excited to see the strong interest in the market as we help our OEM partners launch a new wave of innovation," said Wim Roose, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Audinate.
Both Lumens and Audinate will showcase its newest broadcasting solutions at IBC 2022. For more information about the Lumens and Audinate integration, please visit Lumens at Hall 6, Stand C12 and Audinate at Hall 8, Stand D88.
