NTI Enhances Its ENVIROMUX Management Software to Support Remote Power Control Units

Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces that it has enhanced its ENVIROMUX® Management Software to support all four- and eight-port Secure Remote Power Control Units with Environmental Monitoring. Additionally, scrolling sensor summary pages and sensor reading graphs are now available.

The ENVIROMUX-MNG intuitive graphical software provides an easy-to-use, unified interface with multi-language support including English, German, Indonesian, and Japanese for both monitoring and configuring up to 3,000 ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D, ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16(U), IPDU-S4/8 units and all connected sensors. The software displays values and statuses for individual sensors or a list of sensors. Multiple ENVIROMUX units may be monitored and configured individually or in a group.

The Secure Remote Power Control Units with Environmental Monitoring allow users to remotely reboot and control power (on/off) to up to eight servers or other powered devices from any location via secure web interface, RS232, SSH, or Telnet. By centralizing the monitoring of numerous units in one spot, users can create applications such as remotely powering on air conditioning units when temperature readings go up in multiple locations without having to physically be at each place.

The scrolling summary pages enable a user to filter specific sensors from multiple units for close monitoring. The status of each sensor is updated dynamically based on the configured refresh rate of each individual sensor. A scrolling summary can include selected sensors from a specific unit, all units, or a pre-configured group of units.

Users can also view the history graph of a selected sensor to track its readings from the last hour, last day, last week, last 30 days or the last 120 days. The color of the graph can be changed and the range of readings displayed will adjust as new readings are taken. The properties of the chart and its appearances are alterable. An image of the graph can be saved for future analysis or comparison.

With multiplatform support, the ENVIROMUX-MNG is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8, Windows Server 2000/20003/20008, Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD, and MAC OS 9/10. Administrators can choose to manage up to 10, 50, 100, 500, or 3000 ENVIROMUX and IPDU units based on their desired configuration.

The Enterprise Server Environment Monitoring System Management Software is available for a free 30-day evaluation, after which a permanent license activation key must be purchased in order to continue using the software. An evaluation copy of the software can be requested at http://www.networktechinc.com/software-eval-env.html

Available for immediate sale, the ENVIROMUX-MNG costs between $500 and $14,995.
