The Ross GearLite ADC-9532 Analog Audio to AES/EBU Converter is broadcast quality product used to convert analog audio to 20 or 24-bit AES-3id (coaxial) signals. ADC-9532 accepts one stereo (A, B) analog audio input and provides 3 unbalanced AES output signals at 32, 44.1 or 48kHz sample rates. Balanced analog audio signal is connected through detachable terminal strip. Input level adjustments are continuously variable from +12 dBu to + 30 dBu to produce 0 dBFS digital output level, meeting all international level standards. For example, in system with an analog audio level standard of + 4 dBu, ADC-9532 can provide nominal digital output level adjustable between -12 dBFS to -30 dBFS (-20 dBFS being a common digital audio level standard). A to D converter uses a state-of-the-art 256X oversampling delta sigma modulator and filtering circuit to produce three identical high-quality AES streams. Reference signal or processing errors are detected and reported on the unit’s LEDs.
