The DAC-9213 (-R) is universal SDI to analog component converter for both SDI 270Mb/s and HD-SDI 1.485Gb/s. The DAC-9213 automatically equalizes up to 305m (1,000 ft.) of 1694A cable at 270Mb/s, and up to 100m (325 ft.) of Belden 1694A cable at 1.485Gb/s rates. Two reclocked outputs are provided on model DAC-9213-R. The converter automatically detects the input standard, supporting both SMPTE 259-C (270Mb/s) and SMPTE 292M (1.485Gb/s) standards. The converter supports the following formats: 480i, 576i,720p, 1080i. The SDI signal is converted with 11-bit processing and 10-bit DACs to three analog component signals: YPbPr or RGB. A built-in proc amp allows adjustments to levels, gain, setup, and blanking. The front panel of the DAC-9213 provides a visual indication of signal presence and error status. The DAC-9213 is supplied with a universal power adapter and line cord suitable for the country of use. Various mounting options are included that allow a wide range of installation choices. For additional mounting versatility, the DAC-9213 is available with a mounting option for select Sony PVM and BVM series monitors. With the DAC-9213-PVM, the module mounts directly within the monitor's rear option slot, and derives power from the monitor .
